I was so enthralled by this song ever since it was released (18th octobre 2010)

D. Ramirez, MARA, Steve Edwards all their talents put together this is that amazing blend of love and house music. The very first time, I heard this song without the video my imaginations went amock. And just after the video was released, OMG! It was ultimately more than what I imagined of.

After months of frequented injections of this song into my veins, I felt that there is no more than this very joy of spreading it from here. Enjoy!

This is for one of my favourite icons in the music world, Bobby Farrell.

Bobby silently passed away, this day 30 December 2010 in Russia. "BOBBY Farrell, the man who made Daddy Cool and Rasputin disco hits in the 1970s, from hit group Boney M, has been found dead in his hotel while on tour in Russia." - CourierMail

I trace back those cherished memories listening to Boney M's music when I was a tiny kid. Listening to such music was some of the best things that my Dad gave to me. I did not realise it then, how important this Singer - Dancer is going to enchant my life with the the love of music.

To me, the last, but yet *the most mind blowing performance by Bobby Farrell's appearance in S man's "Turn on the Music".

Dear Bobby, I will definitely miss you.

...and the streets are only wet. Not raining.

Woke up at 4.30 am (some 30 minutes back) and hope to be on this wet road in ~~another hour's~~ two hours' time - an hour at the shower still holds true.

It has been raining here, like crazy in the past so many days, including yesterday (a Sunday!) making me feel like a cat already wet and sick. :(

The first thing, I did was to go to Weather.com and the check the forecast. Not to my surprise, but !definitely to my dismay, this is what I see...

I am only happy about December 23rd and 24th. The days that might be shining bright (relatively) and will come easy in the way of seeing Push. (ting)

For some reason, I can get drenched in the rain and still be less worried, back in Pondichéry.

I was taken by awe when I accompanied Jason (one of my friends and colleague, whom I work with and / or for.)

It was at South Coast Plaza, somewhere at Macy's Women and Nordstroms. The whole place was going bling-bling with Christmas season signed all over it. This weekend, I am planning to go there again and do some shutter-bug thingy to quench my thirst for Christmas season collection.

This would be my second Christmas and New Year, spent away from family and abroad.

I wouldn't be scared if I were you. But, I always wanted to check on the time I spend at the shower, bathing. After a series of time catching attempts... I record it as an hour. - yeah!

Which can only mean that if I take bath twice in a day, the ideal spend would be 2 hours, in total. That's not bad - is it?

The up-side is I am clean - squeaky, squeaky clean
The down-side being I am left with only 22 Hours in a day. Worst of all, I haven't counted the litres of water I spend and the time, I take to settle down after the bath. - oops!

Let's say I am willing to add 1 hour each for the post shower scene. That only makes it a total of 20 hours for me to do rest of the other things.

Hmm... I don't know where I am taking this to.

I finally managed to break in to my blog on blogdrive.com!

Sometime after 06 septembre 2004, I lost the password to my account (profile - as they call it now) and left it as is, as ever dying / floating debris into zero space.

After 5 years 2 months 15 days, I somehow managed to crack it in with a bunch of passwords which I've been using from 1997.

This is one another step to keep this blog live and kicking. I've been planning to merge all my blogs (mentioned below) into one single repo, so that it becomes easy for me to cull the posts from one single server.

It's been a long-time itchy thing, that I had stick to my blog. I kept trying again and again, but not much to its effectiveness. Here, I am giving life to this blog, again.

Unlike my previous attempts, this time, I really feel that I can keep this liven up for a considerably long time.

The highlight is the new theme - I like this theme very much (Credit: Awesome Inc.) Though, my design thinking¹ has metamorphised from one concept to another, some of my iterations have graced through dark design templates. Had I not seen this theme, I would have lost this attempt and this day.

¹ None of my designs (design ideas) have been published. I've held myself back even to the near future, when I could complete my design and publish it on my website (alx1.net)

As I was surfing around, I bumped on this article, "End of Music" by Glenn Branca. Whoa! Nay, mate... it don't have a chance!!! ;)

Well, truth is bitter. The fact that he's a genius and I am nowhere near him itself makes me feel bad about writing this and denying some of his points. I second his analysis to some extent. Why "some extent"? Honestly, I have not been listening regularly to orchestrations and symphonies... if I chance to see and/or hear such music, I taste them like honey.

I am happy that I can listen to so many new songs in a blend of genres, Old skool on mix tapes, blended with new voices, sweetly progressed on trance nations and so on...

Doesn't life continue on earth, despite seeing our fellow social being with almost the same eyes, ears, nose... oh c'mon, give me a break!

Love = Music = Energy.
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only change forms. ;)

As an L1 upgrade, I am trying strip off the custom presentation template offered at Blogger. - Thank you Douglas Bowman, I am using your design as the base template.

But eventually I am designing my own template, once that is done, then L2 - completely moving it on to (mt) and moving posts from JukeHead and Blogdrive

Phew!... I don't know how I am going to spin this off. There's more to be done in a short span of time and less Internet connectivity... :(

Update, 18 Nov '09.23.50: Just now figured out that there is no way I can log into my yester Blogs (at Blogdrive.com). Have to copy paste the posts onto Blogger

I saw a programme today on the Discovery Channel, that was towards Global Warming and being human.

People have been cosuming Fish!, like FISH!!!
Needless to say I have been (loving to) consuming Fish alone in the past so many years.

Just because I love them, I am not the one who's going to eat them.

* meen is how people call "fish" in Tamil.

Update (17 nov 2010): I turned towards being a vegetarian. Yeah... for the cause of the living creatures in the sea. And, just because I love them so much.

No... I never wanted to spend any minute on the road (stuck up or still travelling) on my birthday's eve.

I definitely wanted to start things I left behind in 2007. Yeah... definitely the good things alone - Cycling, Blogging and catch up with my 4 Angels quite often.

By this time I have also been to US, to the golden state of California. I stayed at Tustin for a month's work. Fortunately for me, in the last-minute shopping I did, I was able to grab some cool stuff for my cycling dreams. (Will post the details later)

About, the heavy down pour. Jeez! I sensed something wrong this day and hence wanted to start early around 5ish in the evening. But never as usual, there was one of my colleagues who's work needed some attention. Time past by my notice and by the time I left, it was already 7p.m.! I had to race down to Neelaangarai to get my backpack on and then leave right away. It was a bit clumsy of me, when I met Jacob (Jacob Boopalan) who stays in the ground floor... and didn't have much time with him.

Jacob is one of the cool guys I have met in the past few months. - more on Jacob, coming soon!

Yeah. I landed at the Kingsford airport here in Sydney. Just from point of stepping out of the plane, and walking down the lobbies to the checking spot and then till the arrival lobby, there was just only one word the whole atmosphere was whispering about. Security.

All the way around... One more thing I had to adapt to is following the queue. It is very rarely seen in India, where there seems to be a queue that is never properly adhered to.

I'm heading off to Sydney on a project work. Stopped by Singapore. Took sometime to call one of my Singaporean contacts (free of cost). checked my e-mails (free of cost). Updating my blog! (free of cost). Starting to love my trip already, as i'm posting this message using a Panasonic CF-18 Toughbook (free of cost - what else do you want to call an airport to be the next best place on earth!)

Thanks to Ramnath (Director of Electron India), for him, I would have gone mad with boredom and alienation (kinda').

We both had Oat meal cookie for breakfast, he took coffee, while I took fresh orange juice. I'm a juice totaller (eEe). I don't have much about him, but all I felt was... at home. We sat down for some leg stretching, just then, I was taken aback, with the free internet consoles and that way took the chance of updating my blog.

Hunting on a Walkman Mp3 Player

Debbie (my lovely sissy), right now in Coimbatore, undergoing her initial training at TCS, seems to be killed by boredom. She insists I better buy her a flash mp3 player or... (the consequnces are horrible!!! - don't ask).

After a lot of hunting sessions both online and offline, I realised that it would be a Sony Mp3 Player (NW-E003SILVER). Looking for alternatives too. Any suggestions?!

Finally made it with the same, with just the color change. My sissy likes it LAVENDERish (hex code: 0xe6e6fa). First thing, as a highlight on buying it was... "where?". I had several choices on the Mount Rd. itself, but made it to the Sony World at G.N. Chetty Rd. Secondly, if one asks... "Why?", it is purely the kind of customer service they had. As an usual enquiry, I had called them up asking details on the product. In other Sony World's it is a tough time to getan answer. The guy here (Sanjay) called me back on my mobile to update me more on the details, which is "awesome" for just an enquiry - cool!.

It was really a heart warming and such a joyous occassion (as in a birthday, but very unusually happy). I went to Pondichéry by 10 p.m. (yesterday), met my families (thanks to Alfy, for him I wouldn't have figured on how-to-things late that night).

Chez Djivan Maams - Ah... Alfy told every one that I was coming home to get their blessings for my new B'day.

Chez Cyril Daddy - The Kids also knew that I was heading to their home (Julie's 4ngles). These cherry plums where rehearsing Crazy Frog's to dance for me. (hehe! I could never forget how they went about doing the dancing).

Chez uSco - Sendil (I call him "uSco") too was in for a surprise! (yeeks!)

Chez Moi (at Home) - Debbie / Leena (my Sissy) knew from Alfy that I was making *the* surprise visit. She didn't tell mom about this whole thing. As I stepped in, my Mom (who was cracking her teeth watching a comedy show on the télé) went agast - yeah, just-like-that!!!. Dad was already dozed off in his bed. Mom immediatley cooked my lovely Dosas with FISH curry sause!!!.

After all those Heart-Filling moments, I took a bus back to Chennai, and reached here by 3 a.m. (thanks to sweet Babu for picking me up).

At the Office - I had a flower bouquet from the Company. Was little over-working on my project, putting that extra oomph! on this very special day!

Towards Evening, I needed to make it the ulitmatum by meeting Kribs and his family. Kribs - has always *been there* ever since I met him at Anna Univ (So many things binding us in a very special way). We had nicely done Chappathis with one of my favourite side-dishes... Thakkali (Tomato) Chutney - Ah... it is actually a Semi-Tomy-Oni-Tangy-chutney... I couldn't best describe it as best as it tasted. Know what? It is Krib's favourite too! (See... I did say "...thing's really bind us...")

Also, made time to meet Thangamani's Jr. and Balaji's at their home.

I wanted to make a whole lot of difference in me from this special day. - Be withFamily & Friends. The one which has been bothering a lot and circumstantially, things giving me no time for good things to happen.

Went to Work late tonite. Called-up Mom, said thanks for her prayers.

This is my second time, on a bike ride to Chennai. I rode our new motorbike (Honda Shine). Alfy (my brother... my friend... my cousin) accompanied me, helping me with the baggages. We both had such a great sea-side cruise. I took him all the way along the OMR (Old Mahabalipuram Road). He was amazed as I showed him the IT infrastructure of various companies put-up on this road. - This is the first time Alfy is seeing a different part of Chennai.

aiyeee! Good going here in Bangalore, though for the first 2 days it was kinda mayhem. The HFI training is turning out to be something of great relevance and importance for my career. It is cool climate out here, it even drizzled a l'il bit this evening.

It is going to be my first longest stay in Bangalore!. Hope to see my cousin (Elvis).

Nothing else for the moment... but yeas, I'm missing the BlogCamp coordination. Afraid to call anyone back there, coz' the mobile roaming cost is both burning my fingers and the handset.

Yes! finally, I happened to meet Sri Sri Ravishankar. It has been such graceful event today for having met Him. Srikant (my Reporting Manager and Lead Interaction Designer at HCL), associated with Art of Living, suddenly invited (in a way created the opportunity for) me and Balaji (my colleague) to meet Guruji as He arrived at Chennai Airport.

Off-late, I was very eager to meet such a Divine Personality. In fact Srikant had been spelling His name almost every other day, but never did instill in me any anxiety, having seen Him on the television in one of the recent events held at His ashram in Bangalore, made my curiosity intensify, and thus creating in me an urge to see Him in person. The wonder is!!! I have met Him in not more than a couple of weeks time. Something which did not happen as in the case of Mother Amirthanandha Mayi (I have been indefinitely waiting to see Her more than two years now).

I, Guruji
He was such a pleasing divine personality. It is His never sagging smile that has inspired me so much!. One common thing which I found in all the other devotees present to greet Him was that, a few ladies (both young and elderly) turned into sweet little kids, enjoying the most of the blissful moment of Guruji's presence. Wow! I was then overwhelmed with joy and felt the presence of so much positive energy flowing around the place. Ah... at the end, who will know, that I might soon join the ashram... (How soon?!).

Something's never change - part deux {Something's really don't}

Every fine day's morning is an appropriate part of the day for me to start lamenting on my commutation to work.

Buses start at Velacherry (Velacherry is the place where I am staying along with 9 other Pondy Guys)

They start very late than usual (10 - 20 minutes I sit idle inside the bus).
I have to hang out of the bus untill I reach Saidapet (from where I have to take another bus)
I get swarmed at the entrance, that I would be pushed or slammed to another vehicle standing nearby (yesterday, I severed my fore-limb and it is still aching)
I get jammed standing inside and I frequently hear people uttering (tch...)
The driver stops the bus half-way to help the tickect-collector do the collecting for the missing mob of passengers.
I reach Saidapet (soaked wet in sweat!).

I cling onto another such bus from Saidapet to Office.
I reach late at office (and still wish everybody a GooD MorninG!).

My second workout at the GYM

Today is the second day (in all these two months at my new office) to go to the gym. Keeping fit (slim and then fit) has always been in my mind for quite a very long time (18+ months).

Fortunately, I am cutting down a lot of emotional eating and finding it really comfortable towards the end of the day.

Previously, a couple of months in the past I had a BMI value of 29.4, but as of today it is 27.1 and my immediate target is 24.5 with the ultimatum being 22.7

I am positive about making it in the near future, if I had my Spirit (BSA Mach) here in Chennai.

I would have still made a come-back, with myOWN blog setup... it would have been a little late to miss a few valuable / memorable / interesting events in the future.

The BEP [Black Eyed Peas] are seeing better days and with their new album (3rd album) - *Elephunk*, it is more catchy than any other Hip-Hop. The band started off with Will.I.Am, who thought 'break dancing' and 'hip-hop' should take a turn, and which would grab more attention than the gangsta wangsta revolution, during the 1990's. Now, in the 2000's it is seen with a weather of change. And nothing's more than this, just... SHUT UP! :)

At times, I felt guilty as for a MUSIC lover, I lest paid attention to this renowned singer, though I had watched her in TV on her concerts. Hope... I'd do pay sincere attention for the *love* of musique.
